Note: To access the 4finance network from an unmanaged Windows device, you will need to specify your mobile phone details for your 4finance account or configure the Authenticator app on your smartphone. Please note that our Forticlient does not accept connections from networks using the IPv6 protocol. Ensure that your device is assigned an IPv4 address.
1. To begin, download the FortiClient VPN client installer by visiting this link: https://installvpn.4finance.com/nm/FortiClientSetup_7.2.7_x64.exe
2. Once the installer has finished downloading, launch it. If you see a "Windows protected your PC" pop-up, click on "More info" and select "Run anyway". Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
3. To connect to the 4finance Management server, enter "ems.4finance.com" in the "Zero Trust Telemetry" tab and click on the Connect button.
4. Next, go to the Remote Access tab and click on the SAML Login button to connect to the VPN. You will be prompted to enter your 4finance email and password, and to confirm your 2FA authentication.
You can now see the connected VPN on your Taskbar.
1. To uninstall FortiClient, you must first disconnect it from EMS. To do this, go to the "Zero Trust Telemetry" tab and click on the "Disconnect" button.
2. Once FortiClient is disconnected, you can proceed to uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs list on your computer.
